Printmaking

Printmaking Workshop with 3 FISH STUDIOS & Pine Fort Press

Nature is full of hidden, everyday beauty. Printmaking reveals this beauty in random, fascinating ways. This printmaking workshop with San Francisco-based 3 Fish Studios and Portland-based Pine Fort Press will help you discover the random beauty of nature while making a nice edition of prints to take home.

Monotype Printmaking

Using leaves, grasses, and other natural items, we’ll explore monotype printmaking techniques with two printmakers and a Conrad Machine etching press. We’ll forage outside for inspiration, then bring items back to the studio to make plates and one-of-a-kind prints. Students of all experience levels are welcome to take the class. All you need is a creative spark and a love of nature.

Here’s how past Monotype printmaking workshops have gone >>>

MATERIALS INCLUDED

Class fees cover everything: inks, tools, and enough Rives BFK paper for your edition.
