Shaper
Shape a Surfboard with Shaper Studios
Any "maker" can be a "shaper", so to prove it the fine folks at Shaper Studios rigged up a portable shaping bay and are bringing it to the EXPO to teach a shaping workshop. Surprisingly, they teach a lot of people to shape who don’t actually surf. So this isn't just limited to surfers. This is an interactive introduction to surfboard shaping. You'll get hands-on shaping experience without the cost of shaping your own surfboard. The board you help shape will be glasses and auctioned off to raise funds for charity.
